"Allow Office to connect to the Internet" Greyed Out

Hi,

I am using Microsoft Office 2013 Professional Plus. I am facing an issue with allowing MS Office to connect to the internet. When I goto File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Privacy Options the "Allow Office to connect to the Internet" option is greyed out. This is true for all the MS Office Applications!

Any idea on how to solve this??

Regards,

Taha

Does it work after repairing Office? Contact with you IT administrator and confirm whether there is Group policy effects it. Looking forward to your reply. Thanks.

I too have this same issue... Repair didn't fix it. I'm one of the pilot users at a major American corporation and have forwarded this problem onto our IT department. Hopefully it's fixed soon, but IT has already told me that Office 2013 is a clusterfu*k with existing apps so who knows what we'll do. This problem alone is enough to seriously hamper our plans to implement Office 2013 enterprise-wide. Another win for Microsoft!

Any other suggestions for allowing me to view Office Help?
